Software
  • TheFirmware TF2.7b for  HK32 micro-TNC-2e by Heathkit and other compatible models.
  • ´C´-Sources  for TheFirmware for  TNC-2 (Remark: we urge you not to distribute any modified versions but to send them to NORD><LINK. The network performance depends on a common platform for all users).
  • TFX Version 2.8  [Oktober 1996] by Andreas Gal, DB7KG  has been optimized for use with DAMA digipeaters. It is based on TF2.7b. The package includes all TFX drivers and a documentation. The following modem hardware is supported:
    • BayCom 1k2/2k4 serial port plug in modems (TFX_UART oder TFX_PORT)
    • DigiCom 1k2 parallel port plug in modem (TFX_PORT)
    • BayCom Par9k6 9600 Baud parallel port plug in modems (TFX_PAR)
    • BayCom PICPAR 9600 Baud plug in modem (TFX_PAR)
    • intelligent modems (TNCs) using KISS mode (TFX_KISS)
    • a version for the YAM
    • TFX_IPD to connect TNN/IPXPD with hostmode software via ethernet (for e.g. Mailboxes, Sysops.)
  • TFKISS 3.0 is TSR driver for the PC to be used with TNCs/Multimodecontrollers (e.g. KAM, PK232), which support KISS mode. So you may use them for DAMA as well as for any hostmode terminal program. TFKISS 3.0 is based on TheFirmware 2.7b. To avoid data errors especially at higher baudrates the most common CRC protocols (SMACK and RMNC) have been implemented. They are selected by command line switches at startup time. So TFKISS is also well suited for mailboxes or other applications which use a direct wire to connect to the node.
  • TFPCX271 -   The Firmware PC Extended Version 2.71 (23. March 1998) with full DAMA support by Henk de Groot, PE1DNN, based on TFPCX 2.21 by René Stange, DG0FT, based on TF2.7b by NORD><LINK. This a resident AX.25 controller for PC  and BayCom-Modem, SCC-Boards, PAR96, YAM96,  PA0HZP-OptoPcScc Board, KISS and DRSI cards,  with  WA8DED hostmode interface. Source code is also available here.
  • TFWIN from F6FBB is a DLL running under Windows95 to interface a 32bits application with KISS- or 6PACK-TNC  via a serial line. Many parts of the code are from the TF23 for TNC2 of NORD><LINK.
  • TFPK27 for AEA's PK88 and PK232 to replace the original EPROM.
  • TFKISS für LINUX  a KISS-Driver for The Firmware with TNT/DPBOX under Linux by Marc, DL4YBG.
